SRINAGAR-PAHALGAM-GULMARG

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVAL SRINAGAR (BY FLIGHT)

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. We arrive at the houseboat/hotel and check in. Later proceed for a local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens, Cheshma Shahi(Royal Spring), Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jhelum, En-route visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned Carpets, Overnight in Houseboat /Hotel.

Day 2 : SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR (97 KILOMETER / 2 HOURS)

Leave after breakfast & proceed to Pahalgam, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore where you can visit famous saffron fields, Awantipora and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. Pahalgam is a picturesque valley around 97 kilometers South of Kashmir. Known as Pahalgam (which means The Shepherds Village), the valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams and imposing snow peaks. In Pahalgam you can visit Aru valley, Beetab Valley and Chandanwari (Optional) as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the Houseboat/Hotel for our overnight stay. Overnight in Houseboat /Hotel

Day 3 : SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR (65 KILOMETER / 2 HOURS)

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country side day trip towards Gulmarg. Gulmarg (2440 Meters above Sea level). It is one of the most beautiful hill stations and also called “Meadows of Flower”.The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system (Optional) and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of rope-way will take you past colorful shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. In the evening we will drive back to Srinagar, Overnight in Houseboat/Hotel.

Day 4 : SRINAGAR DEPARTURE

After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal.

Booking Procedure

Date of Booking to 30 days prior to travel 30 % and bookings done which are non-refundable.
30 to 15 days prior to travel 50% cancellation
15 to 7 days prior to travel 75% cancellation
0 to 7 days prior to travel or No show 100% cancellation

Please Note

Flight booking: Full payment is required to issue the ticket.
Land Part: 25% of the Total Land Package is payable at the time of booking and the remaining 75% is payable 45 days prior to departure.
If travel is within 45 days, full payment is required.
In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges, or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
The tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
No-show guests will not be given any refund, nor will their tours be rescheduled.
SIC means Seat In Coach basis. The driver will communicate with the guests if there is a change in the assigned pickup.
If the guest fails to reach the designated place within the arranged time, no replacement will be provided and the guest will need to make their own arrangements.
The guide will be available only for specific tours/excursions.
If there is any change in flights by the airline, tours and transfers will not be rescheduled.
Above-mentioned itinerary, flights, timings, and rates are subject to change. Hotels, services, and air tickets quoted are subject to final confirmation from hotels, suppliers, and airlines. Otherwise, a similar property or airline will be used.
After booking confirmation, an amendment charge of Rs. 1,000/- per person will be applicable, only if the booking allows amendments.
Room type (Twin or Double) is at the sole discretion of the hotels. Hotels allocate rooms on a Run of the House basis.
It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide, and carry valid travel documents, including a passport valid for at least six months from the date of travel, necessary visa(s) and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance covering risk to life, limb, and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, and inoculation/vaccination certificates, as applicable, to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements that may come into effect prior to departure will be applicable. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if the exchange rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s), Tickets, Visas, and Insurance Policies carefully and inform the Company immediately in the event of any error.
The itinerary may be changed by the tour manager during execution of the tour. Hence, guests are advised not to fix their own programs, as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of non-granting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial, or other related act, or for any loss, expense, damage, or cost resulting therefrom.
In case your visa is applied for through us and is rejected, the visa fee is non-refundable.
